two year health Guarantee
No guarantee is made to the size or coat appearance of this puppy. While we make every effort to have consistent predictable sizes, mixed breed dogs always run the risk of having the genetics of a grandparent affect the adult size of any litter. Remember that coat texture and color may change for several years.
The Seller offers a health Guarantee for life-inhibiting defects until puppy is 2 years of age. Seller will not require puppy/dog to be returned for warranty to be exercised. The two year guarantee does not include or cover dentition, parasites, or non-genetic illness. It is at the Sellers discretion as to whether to offer a monetary assistance or to replace the puppy with a like puppy. Monetary assistance is 50% of the purchase price of the puppy.
During the first year of development hips and joints are continuing to form and develop. Puppies should not do an excessive amount of stair climbing (in excess of normal household stairs) and they should not run regularly on asphalt or cement--both of those activities can cause permanent and irreparable damage to hip, knee or elbow joints. Breeders will not be held responsible for joint damage related to obesity, excessive stair climbing or regular/frequent running on asphalt or concrete.
If the dog is found to have a testable genetic disease, the Buyer needs to present a report from a licensed veterinarian in order to have veterinary bill reimbursement up to 50% of purchase price paid. Breeder reserves the right to a second opinion by a veterinarian of the breeder's choice.
The puppy needs to be checked by the owner’s vet by the time he/she is 8 weeks 2 days or within 72 hours of receiving the puppy--whichever is longer. In the event that a vet check cannot be obtained within the aforementioned time period, the buyer agrees to accept our local vet findings as proof of health at time of possession. Delayed vet check will have no effect on the 2 year genetic guarantee.
